CREATIVE MINDS

Creativity is a gift.  Whether painting - drawing or writing.  To beable to create, enables us - not only to express feelings, but also open a door to a creative future.  Only us - as writers - are able to connect to a world of fantasyand bring it to LIFE.    Your characters you create become - almost like a friend - sound CRAZY a - but very true.  While you write - you become that character, feel what the character feels and become drawn into the story yourself.  This helps of course, using your own feelings and thoughts - how you would feel in a terrifying situation.  Collecting the symptoms of your solitary feeling- enables your characters to become realistic.  But most important of all - your READER!
Of course, as a writer, we already feel what the characters feel, but, If the reader is un-able to feel the TENSION - NERVOUSNESS - HAPPINESS  ETC then they are missing out on your CREATIVE MIND
Taking a break from the writing is crucial to creating a succesful piece of work.  Ok - we all want to get it FINISHED, but tiredness can and will affect our writing.   When our work is complete and sent off - we want to beable to say -

‘That was a great read’  and most importantly - PUBLISHERS to beable to say it!

The DARK SIDE…

written by Tina Dadds - titch Yell !!!…it happened again…pausing she peered her head around the corner - nothing in sight. Suddenly an icy touch fell upon her shoulder - the force knocking her to the floor and incarcerating her within its power.

Looking up, her eyes fell upon the figure levitating before her. Suddenly; within seconds…it sprung blue wings twice the size of it’s body, two sharp fangs resting upon it’s black rimmed lips, two horns perched like trophies upon its stubbled head, and large - cold hearted hands with nails as sharp as the horns with blue pulsating veins racing across its body…

About me…

SmileHi.  I’m a married 33 year old.  I’m married to vic Smile  We have 3 children.  Eldest son is Carl - he’s 13, then twins - Shannon and Reece - 11.  Tongue out  I have been writing since I was 13, and while I was at college, I wrote a book ‘Tabi Taxi’ (childrens book) This was sent to other countries that needed educational supplies - I was so proud of that book.  Im curently writing a story that has taken my interest for a while.  I hope that one day, the story will be published.

I like to go to the gym in my spare time - (what spare time a lol) and also like to go swimming.  I have to run my kids to their activities that they all attend, but I always make sure that I can get a little writing down each day - if I don’t get to write - well, we all know how frustrating it is when you just want to delve into the ideas that are swimming around in your head. Smile  Enjoy my blog!!! Laughing

Writing style - The Blanket of Darkness! -

The blanket of darkness emerged the fear deep within; as I lay solitude within a cold, steel room - incarcerated from the outside world.  Kidnapped from the warmth of my bed - as the neighbourhood slept…unaware of the intruder lurking within the darkness of my dwelling.  His cold hands upon my body jerked me from my sleep - welcomed by his ice cold glare as our eyes met through the distorted beams of moonlight.  Before I could scream…his cold hearted grasp upon my face - ceased the struggle.  The blanket of darkness - my light - my day…will they ever find me!
